The city of Las Vegas is known worldwide for its ostentatious displays of wealth. The desire to visit Sin City is understandable, but that doesn’t mean you have to go into debt to do it. You get what you pay for, so to speak, at some of the cheapest hotels in Las Vegas. Therefore, we have compiled a list of the best hotels in Las Vegas that won’t break the bank but will still provide a comfortable stay.

The cost of a trip to Las Vegas can quickly add up between the high prices of the city’s best restaurants, hotels, and shows. Furthermore, Sin City is well-known for its abundance of hotels that impose resort fees.

As you may already know, resort fees can significantly increase the total cost of an already pricey vacation. On the other hand, resort fees tend to be lower when the hotel itself is inexpensive.

During the off-season and on the weekends, you can find many Las Vegas hotels that offer lower rates than their competitors. Unfortunately, we can’t always recommend the cheapest hotels in Las Vegas. Nonetheless, we are aware of a few recommended low-cost options that are pleasant, secure, and easy on the wallet. In fact, if you’re open to changing your plans, you can find room rates as low as $30-$80 at some hotels on the Strip during the middle of the week. There isn’t a single hotel on this list that costs more than $150 per night, and we love that so many of them provide free amenities that many of the more well-known hotels in Vegas don’t.

This is starting to sound pretty nice, right? Keep reading to learn more about the Las Vegas hotels that we recommend if you’re on a tight budget.

Casino Royale Best Western Plus – Center Strip

One of the hotels we suggested doesn’t charge guests any extra for staying there. It’s the only hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, in fact, that doesn’t charge resort fees. That’s fantastic, right? We feel it only fair to point out that, while the hotel’s exterior may look a little run down, you’ll likely have a change of heart once you step foot inside. The rooms at the Casino Royale Best Western Plus truly reflect the hotel’s dedication to cleanliness and security. Though simple, they are spotless and pleasant. Moreover, the quality of the service provided to customers is exceptionally high. The location is ideal and cannot be improved upon. The Best Western Plus Casino Royale is conveniently located next to the luxurious Venetian hotel and directly across the street from the Mirage and its free volcano show. In addition, there are many cheap restaurants in the area, as well as a cheap bar and casino right there at the hotel. If you’re looking for something that won’t break the bank, look no further. Head to the casino after you relax, check out GentingCasino.com for online casino games.

    Tropicana Las Vegas

The Tropicana’s position on the southern end of the Strip makes it a prime destination. This makes it less popular than competing hotels in the area. Depending on your desired vacation, this may be a major benefit. The Tropicana is a wonderful choice if you are looking for a less formal venue. It is true that some guests find the Tropicana to be tired and dated, and that some of the facilities and guest rooms still need updating. It’s not fancy, but it has everything you need for a relaxing stay in Vegas. This hotel has large, clean rooms with soft, comfortable beds. And if you can find a room for less than $100 a night during the week, your wallet will thank you even more. The Strip is literally steps away from your doorstep.

    Rio All-Suite Resort And Casino

If you’d rather not stay right on the Strip, the Rio All-Suite Resort and Casino is another excellent option. The south end of the Strip is about a 10-minute drive from the hotel. Nonetheless, some rooms offer breathtaking views of the Strip. You can also get to the Strip quickly whenever you like. Due to its location away from the main part of the Strip, the Rio is considerably cheaper than its Strip counterparts. So, it’s a popular choice for budget-minded Las Vegans in search of suites with kitchenettes. The Rio Hotel and Casino is home to the VooDoo Beach Pools, a Penn & Teller show, and numerous casinos. It’s a huge plus that guests of the Rio don’t have to pay anything extra to park their cars there, as most hotels charge at least $15 per day. While it’s true that the Rio isn’t exactly a 5-star establishment, it’s hard to argue with the value you get for your money (not to mention Penn & Teller!) if you book here.

    Treasure Island

You might get the impression that free parking is the norm at Vegas hotels based on the number of hotels on this list that offer it. Have faith in us when we say it isn’t! If you’re looking for a cheap hotel in Las Vegas, Treasure Island is a good option; however, the hotel’s free parking is an added bonus. The hotel’s prime location on the Strip means that you can easily reach any of the Strip’s many attractions on foot. Treasure Island also has a unique pirate-theme that young readers will enjoy. Gilley’s Saloon is a country bar that offers free line dancing classes multiple times a week. The rooms are large and spotless, and some even have a view of the Strip. After a long day of exploring Las Vegas, many guests appreciate the availability of mini refrigerators in their rooms. Treasure Island is conveniently located in the middle of the city, but if you are flexible with your trip dates, you can usually find some great deals.

Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

Bally’s is an excellent choice because of the value you get for your money in their newly renovated rooms, enormous casino, and variety of entertainment options. On top of that, this hotel is situated close to the heart of the Strip (think: next door to Paris Las Vegas). Bally’s is known for its excellent summer deals despite its spectacular setting. The rooms at Bally’s are large and spotless. Many rooms are connected by corridors, and some even have refrigerators in them. If you book a suite, you can unwind in the spacious bathroom with a deep soaking tub after exploring the hotel’s many facilities. The hotel’s fitness center, tennis court, and spa are all immaculate. There are several restaurants, as well as Twilight Zone Mini Golf. When the day is over, dive into the hotel’s Blu Pool.

    Excalibur

The Excalibur’s castle decor and arcade make it a family-friendly choice for a cheap vacation in Sin City. Excalibur is a large and clean hotel on the southern end of the Strip. Although other attractions on the Strip are a bit of a walk away, an Uber is always an option. They also provide room service, which is a perk not offered by all hotels. As you explore the hotel’s many amenities, like the world-famous Tournament of Kings, you’ll notice the castle theme throughout. Dinner and a jousting show fit for a king or queen. Customers appreciate the helpful staff and the reasonable rates, compared to other similarly situated hotels.

South Point Hotel Casino & Spa

Don’t miss out on South Point if being 15 minutes from the Strip isn’t a deal breaker for you! This hotel has a movie theater with 16 screens, plus spacious, clean, and reasonably priced rooms. There’s a beautiful pool for relaxing after a day of sightseeing, and the bowling alley is reasonably priced for a family outing. The hotel’s Garden Buffet and the many other restaurants inside are favorites of both guests and locals for their low prices and excellent quality. If you find $2 Bloody Marys elsewhere in Las Vegas, we’ll refund your money. The helpful staff and high quality of service are also big draws for those staying at this hotel. The grade for South Point is an A.
